OHM Soyuz Series

I was implying it seems to be more compatible with the out of date 2006 orbiter (which might be why most of my addons didn't install properly) they are on 2010P1 now so all addons should be reconfigured for 2010P1. If I created a Soyuz addon I would make sure its compatible with the newest orbiter & include all the required addons with it. Just like how they made the Apollo AMSO addon and I would include every possible scenario from a launch to the ISS to the undocking & returning to earth.

You must have alot of time on your hands.

Demanding addon authors bundle meta-addons like spacecraft3 or multistage creates problems like one package overwriting your up-to-date spacecraft3 with an outdated one. Never mind that they aren't allowed to redistribute the .dll files in the first place. I'll point out what you have download that will ensure you have want you need to use this addon. Download, and then extract the following into your Orbiter folder, in the order they appear here:

http://users.swing.be/vinka/spacecraft3_060302.zip

http://users.swing.be/vinka/spacecraft3_2006-P1.zip

http://users.swing.be/vinka/multistage_050721.zip

[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4661"]Stage.dll for Orbiter 2010[/ame]

Then extract the Soyuz Series addon into your Orbiter folder. It'll work, though you'll find this addon is about Soyuz the Rocket, not Soyuz the capsule. I might suggest a Soyuz capsule for you, though I'm waiting to see if you can follow my directions to have these Soyuz rockets working before I do that.

Stealthstar, you're very lucky you've met a nice fellow like orbitingpluto on your path.
If you wanna know a whole lot of other nice and helpful Orbinauts, and there's plenty of them, please consider...editing your "fix-it-now!" attitude, thanks.

And this:
Stop. Posting. EVERYWHERE.

:cheers:

You still didn't even do your duty in the process of bug reporting: Posting the contents of the "Orbiter.log" file (if your windows is configured to hide the file extensions, despite the dangers, you will only see multiple files named "Orbiter", but only one file looking like a text file and categorized as "log file"). It is VERY important, because most errors can quickly be analysed and identified by the messages that Orbiter writes into the log file while starting and running the scenario.

Things would be easier if we would have a user-friendly package manager for Orbiter, but even like things are now is still much easier than many installation processes based on Linux package managers. It only involves reading the manual first and extracting the files after downloading.

You are of course free to make a package manager for Orbiter. I couldn't do it right now, but I know which things I don't know right now. (A lot of it would be security and verification, which is mostly brain-ware.)

I use it in Orbiter 2010 P1 with no issues. You are not enabling us to help you.

I know that I had some issues with spacecraft3 add-ons in Orbiter 2010 NG, but that had been no problem to sort out then...if you have the Orbiter.log to read about it.

In the Soyuz CVEL thread, stealthstar says that he got the rockets working, but has a problem with the Soyuz spacecraft itself. It seems that the spacecraft is not compatible with Orbiter 2010.

OK so I got mine to work (turns out you DO need a bunch of other addons to make it load properly) These are the addons: BLC1 PAD 5, multistage 2, space craft 3, all payloads for each scenario, and the Soyuz series file itself. DON'T use Soyuz TMA CEVL 06 light if you are using any Soyuz addon built for orbiter 2010P1 as the spacecraft will disappear when you try to input commands like solar panel deployment.

About the "disappearing" issue, wasn't there a "stage.dll" patch for orbiter 2010?
[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4661"]Stage.dll for Orbiter 2010[/ame]

The stage.dll controls the stages jettisoned by multistage.dll and multistage2.dll based vessels. This replacement .dll corrects the "missing mesh/no visuals" problem.

it is possible to launch any launch complex on Orbiter 2016 (transfer him to discharge spacecraft3) need to download add-on Buran Launch Complex High Detail
https://www.orbithangar.com/showAddon.php?id=c9068cdc-b4ae-4f1e-a715-cf784a51a3af
we need a file Config\Spacecraft\K3-Buran-Launch-Complex
substitute in this line .msh the launch complex that we want to run
MESHNAME="K3-Buran-Launch-Complex"
e.g. Launch Complex 40 and 41
[CONFIG]
MESHNAME="K-LC-40"
SIZE=20
EMPTY_MASS=9999
FUEL_MASS=0
MAIN_THRUST=0
RETRO_THRUST=0
ATTITUDE_THRUST=0
ISP=0
TRIM=0.05
PMI=(15.5,22.1,7.7)
CW_Z_POS=0.09
CW_Z_NEG=0.09
CW_X=2.
CW_Y=1.4
CROSS_SECTION=(153.0,386.9,125.9)
COG=2.47
PITCH_MOMENT_SCALE=0.00005
BANK_MOMENT_SCALE=0.00005
ROT_DRAG=(3,3,3)
WING_ASPECT=0
WING_EFFECTIVENESS=0
LAND_PT1=(0,-37.5,9)
LAND_PT2=(-4,-37.5,-5)
LAND_PT3=(4,-37.5,-5)

now the launch complex is spacecraft3 using scn editor install it anywhere
