Software software problem

I don't know if this is the right place to post this or not but when I start the program I would recieve a "draw.dll " error program needs to shut down. This only happens with trying to start certain situations itself. I tried a fresh install without any addons. Still the same situation. Is there a patch that I need to download or change something in the pre-start stage? If this needs to placed in a different thread please do I am new to the forum am still learning were to post what on the site. thank you GH

Did you configure it correctly before launching it, for example the video settings?

I can't config the video it just in "Rgb Emulation" I can't afford a graphix card I juts have what my computer has.

Try this:
open video option on the "launch pad" and check "always enumerate device"
Color depth 16
Under "modules",activate all

If you have checked enumerate devices, you should have a nice list of drivers to select from in the box that contains RGB emulation.

I think that error may indicate that you may not have DirectX installed, or perhaps not the latest version of it?

Try installing directx to see if that helps, also the specs of your machine should be more than enough to run orbiter, so perhaps the latest video drivers may also help.

I checked it and it still has only rgb enumberation.

I updated directx and I have the updated video drivers I still get a ddraw.dll problem
