Thanks. I think the SM might be too long? Haven't found dimensions. The solar panels I need to redo. The structure that mounts in the Orion folds out then the first panel
All I have found is this:
4 m long
diameter of 4.1 m excluding solar panels, 5.2 m diameter stowed 19 m with solar panels unfurled. The problem is the top of the panel look to be witht the top of the thrusters and the bottom extends below the edge.

We know the panels are 2 meters square

I've seen worse from shuttle launches in terms of deck paint abrasion. The SRB exhaust is pretty abrasive so it acts like a very powerful sandblaster.

Redid the solar panels. the cube is 7 x 2 meters.

As you can see the gap needs to be big to make the 7 meters length. My other thought is the arm length may be included?

Really cool to see such high quality pics showing the spacecraft exterior hull, those panels-mounted cams were a great idea !

Oh boy, finally some usable images :cheers:

Can't wait for the coverage of the "first" manned mission. What a pity I'll be older by then... 😂

Btw: does anyone have information why NASA chose the early 90's worm-logo?

Form the pictures, it looks like the gap isn't nearly that big.
I agree that the 7 meter length does includes the arm and mounting hardware.

So I resize the panels by 1.34. I was trying to match the photo. It seems the panels are no 45 degrees. They look to be on the seams.
