One significant problem with the new "International Space Station V1.0" is that it removes the "ODS" from the default Shuttle Fleet scenarios. This will remove the docking port camera as well as the reassignment of the linear thrusters that was introduced in V4.0.6. In order to correct this problem, this patch to V4.1.5 is being released for users of the new ISS V1.0. This updated Shuttle.dll will allow you to retain the shuttle centerline camera view as well as the thruster reassignment. In place of the "ODS" line in any shuttle scenario, use the line "ISSV1" in its place to use the ISS V1.0 ODS in place of the default ODS. Users of the ISS Fleet do not need to install this patch, although it will not conflict with those scenarios. One example scenario is included in this package; look for the scenario "ISS V1 testing" scenario under the "International Space Station" scenario folder.

strange, looks like nothing is changing...and the test scenario crashes...

Oops, released too quickly! Open the test scenario file and change the "System" line from "Sol_Alt" to just "Sol". That should solve the CTD and then you will see what's different.

Package at Orbithangar has been updated with a corrected scenario file.

yeah, ok. test scenario works now. but all the others International Space Station scn are the same as before. i mean, i still havo no docking cam...is it normal?

Did you read the Readme file included in the package? YOU have to change the scenario files and include the line "ISSV1" in place of "ODS" (which was commented out originally. Remove the ";" so that the program reads the line after you change "ODS" to "ISSV1"). I did not update all the scenario files that are installed by the ISS V1 add-on.

:P uff...my fault as usual :P i'm always in hurry.
thanks for assistance

I'm having a problem where Auto FCS has stopped working. How do I fix?

Hi guys,

I've experienced some little trouble lately. I don't know exactly if it has something to do with the SF Patch 4.1.6!?

In every Shuttle Scenario (using the SolM-Config from ISS v1.1 and the ISSV1 Option for the new ODS) and SF 4.1.6 i got problems with the KU-Band Antenna!

When starting scenarios, for example a Launch Scenario, where the KU-Band Antenna is normaly stowed (Scn-Line: KUBAND 0 0.0000), it is displayed as already deployed!
I have to open the Shuttle Bay and stow it manually what causes some sort of a graphic bug. The Antenna textures are going apart and that is looking a bit strange.

In Scenarios already in orbit, where the Antenna should be deployed, (Scn-Line: KUBAND 1 1.0000) the situation is opposite.

Do you guys know whats going on here?

Thanks!!

Are you talking about the scenarios which come with the ISS V1.1 package; or scenarios that you have edited? If the latter, please post one of the offending scenarios here. I cannot reproduce this problem based upon the information I have so far.

Hi Dave,

it's strange, that the ISS v1.1 Scenarios working without the KU-Band Antenna Problem. The Problem occurs only with my modified Scenarios.

So, i'll post you following Scenario:

Maybe you can find the failure!? ;)

Hmm hard to say... but it should be bug in our Shuttlebay module... try remove shuttlebay from scenario and it´ll be get better:)

I've already tried that but no success!

Although, i want to keep Shuttlebay, because of the nice EMU's and if I delete Shuttlebay, there is no new ODS.

So, there must be something other wrong.

Interesting....

I tested your scenario in this shape and no problem. Scenarios wrote by me for ISS are ok or KU issue too?

The ISS v1.1 Scenarios working very well without the KU-Band Issue.

I think it's a bit strange, because the ISS v1.1 scenarios are basicly very similar to my modified ones. I've just added a few things more.

Hmm so try make scenario steb by steb... and we will see.

Maybe Dave will find out whats going on. If not, I'll try to build up the scenario step by step.

I have a request; please restore your Shuttle.dll file from the V4.1.5 distribution package. Then, try your scenario, without any editing, and see if the problem still exists. This will tell me whether or not I introduced this issue with the V4.1.6 patch. I still cannot get it to reproduce. Just copy the "Shuttle.dll" file from V4.1.5 into your Modules sub-directory, then run the scenario again. If the problem is gone, then reload the V4.1.6 "Shuttle.dll" and see if the problem comes back again.

Thanks,
Dave

Ok, Dave!

I've done it as you told me. With the old 4.1.5 .dll file, the problem was gone! No KU-Band issue! I've tested it several times!

With reinstalling the 4.1.6 .dll file I've got the KU-Band Issue again.

Seems like, the issue was introduced with the 4.1.6 Package.

Okay then, I'll go back to the code and see if I can find anything. PM me your Email address, and once I have an update, I'll Email the updated dll to you to test for me.

Thanks,
Dave

This seems to be a very limited problem, has anyone else had this problem? I can't reproduce it, so troubleshooting it is very difficult (using third party testing is a slow process at best...)
