This is Donamy's very Multi-jointed guy. And using BrianJ's eva guy the guy can move all around the shuttle.

Basically when you eva it creates the guy and attaches it. Then you move the attachment point. Then you move back to the hatch and enter.


So basically need to make 4 different meshes. Maybe no stripe, solid red strip, hashes red strip, blue strip?

So things to think about. Keys to eva. Need 4. Or I can try to add press a key and then enter which eva guy and then when you press a key it happens.

I can code it so when the hatch is open the eva exits but not to re enter.

In d3d9 it has issues. Not being able to switch linear to rotation?

In a scn just change the vessel to this:
Shuttle2016BEVA

in the shuttle
ALT + E selects which eva guy
E deploys the guy.
Switch to guy and use they keypad to move the guy. CTRL + Space open box to control the guy animations.
B turns lights on/off
if near the start press V and the guy goes away.

Searched through the net and found out that SolarMax and UARS are built on the same satellite bus, the Multimission Modular Spacecraft (MMS)

Also, EUVE was supposed to be launched by STS, then after awhile they would fly back to EUVE and replace the science instruments with XTE using the same bus. Eventually, they each flew separately on Delta IIs.

Many Satellites were to use the MMS even a lot of the DOD sats so the could be serviced by the shuttle. even the Zenith Star was to have the MMS as its control module

So On the EVA guys is is too much or should I go with a simpler guy. Like the Ummu guy was. He just had one attachment?

I might could code it to allow both?

Not sure what else to do before releases the standard non eva shuttle?

I tested your last .zip which gathers all of your extraordinary work.

I realized that you have to be careful when installing:

Space Shuttle Fleet V4.8 Release 2 of "David413" of 20-04-2012 (ShuttleFleetV4.8R2.zip)

do not install the Config / Earth.cfg file because it is not compatible with Orbiter2016 at all and we no longer have the textures of the planets.

it should be included in the readme.

It must be specified in the readme !

Then I tested the scenarios but some do not work because it must miss texture files.
There are also some scenarios missing from some of the missions we talked about in the posts above.

Yes the doc needs work. as far the other shuttles. I thought I mentioned just move the texture to the new folder.

Found an error in the dll which I fixed regard sts51G

Actually the hold is empty ... because HST is in orbit in front of the shuttle everything is OK ...

On the other hand concerning my second remark why not doing the scenarios
with the Brainj addon HST_EX ? HST_EX is really more beautiful.



Regarding the scenarios for Sunneyvale with the addon everything is fine now.
But I have position problems for the shuttle and the equipment in the hold.

So STS49..It looks like meshes are not there. Can you post the log.

I will update the sts 109.

I will look at the Sunneyvale stuff. Odd that I didn't see the launch center though

Weird. In my vanilla version it works.
they should be in the zip in this folder:
C:\Orbiter2016vanilla\Meshes\STS_PayloadsNEW
