Tuesday, December 21, Roskosmos officially opened the geographic portal geoportal.ntsomz.ru, which operates on the principle, very similar to the principle of Google Maps.

The new site is free to view and download satellite images of Earth's low-resolution.

The portal was developed by JSC "Russian space systems, together with the Institute of Precision Instruments, for its creation was spent about 10 million rubles. According to the creators site, it is better to map service Google refresh rate: Russians promise to update the data on the portal every day.
