Since the German Rosat space observatory is going to crash on Earth someday in the next year, lets use this sad (and slightly dangerous) event for a tiny bit of Roulette. Well sort of.

The rules: You have ten OrbitBucks (a virtual currency), you can make one post to say how you are going to invest them. The one who wins most bucks wins. You can post and edit your post until the satellite crashes. All posting after the crash or edited afterwards (by the official crash time, not just when I say so, I have to sleep sometimes as well). Additionally, I reserve the right to terminate the bets once ROSATs orbit altitude drops below 150 km, since then official impact predictions could bias the bets too much.
The categories: You can put your bucks on anything in the following categories. The more precise you bet, the more you can win.

Country| x 25
State, or similar| x 1,000
City| x 1,000,000City in this case means: within 100 km of the place designated by the city. Please don't use a small city out of nowhere that nobody can really know, if a large famous metropolis is nearby.
If the damage footprint is big enough, anything that has debris parts above 1 kg mass wins. That something will come down can be assumed, it has a lot of special optics on it, made of [ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zerodur]Zerodur[/ame].
Before the complaints come: I know that it is really a dangerous event since enough of the satellite can come down to kill somebody in a chain of really unlucky events.
But: Nobody ever died yet in a few dozen of similar events, and the chance to get hit by lightning out of the blue sky is higher.

I didn't really calculate this against the ground track area, but x25 should still be a pretty bank-friendly quota even with China. :lol:
