Well, the message lengths are short, generally no more than 100 chars, so 2000 chars/sec seems reasonable to me. A couple frames per second is great, as I was thinking of a low-budget scenario where the internal MFDs (and extMFDs) were still being used and additional CPUs were brought in as the remote MFDs are released and budget allowed. Considering the increase in framerate by offloading the MFDs, I think there's good incentive for MFD devs to jump in.Anyting over 60fps is ideal. IMHO, I see no difference one way or the other between 128fps and 137fps. I'd be more interested in comparisions of the network data bandwidth used between 4hz and 20hz.![]()
