News Red Arrows display team fly over New York City

Saw a short video on youtube, but the ThunderChickens hadn't joined the formation yet.

Nothing here in the UK, but the air display season is nearly over with the weather.
Looks like they will have fun in the US.

It loses a lot (and I mean a lot) without voice commentary or hearing the sounds of freedom.

Don't know why the 'Chickens are so far ahead of everyone else though (ain't like they're special or anything) I mean, we all know what flight demonstration team is the best, right? ;) My favorite move is at 2:41. Clench inducing when seen in person (and from a few hundred yards away)

Actually, now that I've seen that a few times, I realize how much I miss the A-4's. Those things were slick and nimble.

Excellent! A4 is one of my favourite designs, always looks like its going somewhere.

Wonder if the RA will meet up with the shiny spitfire, that would be fun.

Enjoy 0:19, 0:52, 1:16, 1:35, 1:49, Ect.

I kind of understand why the USFA and USN display teams fly the aircraft that they do, its the same reason the Red Arrows fly the Hawk, Its the cheapest aircraft for their respective services to fly in man hours, spare parts and replacement aircraft, that also has the performance to do the routines.
