Scenario Real Time ISS and Satellite Tracking (155)

I wanted to track the ISS in real time and I tried to use the Heavens traffic MFD in 2010-P1 but it did not work for me, presumably because the information is no longer valid in the scenario.

So I made a Scenario for it using the NORAD TLE info for today, it worked and the ISS now tracks with the live feed from the tracking websites. So I decided to add 154 of the brightest satellites to the same scenario using todays TLE data.

For simplicity I made all the satellites Carina types, but you can change them to what you want.

I made the camera location my back garden so I can run out and check when one comes over

If you want to see the markers from a ground location just goto the config - vessels folder, open the carina.cfg file and change the size from 5.0 to 5000.0 This then lets you see all the satellite markers even if they are below the horizon.

(remember to change it back though if you actually use carina in one of your scenarios).
