Dudes. I just finished making a batch of butter pecan fudge. And I made two batches of white chocolate cranberry walnut fudge yesterday. And am on track to make some chocolate fudge tomorrow.

The good news is that I haven't been inundated with Christmas music on every radio channel while driving my car.

The bad news is that is because the Christmas music has been DDoS'd by Adele's "Hello" song. :facepalm:Yeah, great singer, OK, but I flipped through 6 channels this morning and they were ALL Adele.

Can't they cook up some sort of rationing system?

This is the system. You hear it so often, that you get deaf on it.

The problem is: The monkeys who make the radio programs today are not the smartest monkeys at all. You quickly get the impression that except Adele, there is no noteworthy music in the world - in reality, it is just the urge to press as much Adele into every hour of the day, and have only 55 minutes left for the rest including ads and annoying talking.

There is a good reason why BFBS got very popular in northern Germany in the past two decades.

Basically, a very large number of well-paying jobs are held by GM employees in north america, a lot held by Baby Boomers who also vote in very large numbers. If a company like GM goes under, it also would dry up business with other companies that contract parts and things like that for GM. The concern was that if GM collapsed, it would take those other companies with it, and in turn damage the overall economy by its laid off employees not being able to buy things.

What always irked me about it was that GM continued as one distinct entity after the bailout. The need for a bailout proved that GM wasn't a stable organization as it was, so shouldn't bailout monies be provided on the condition that the larger company be broken up into smaller ones?

Essentially it means that loosing thousands of jobs before an election is worse than loosing so many jobs afterwards.

I don't have 'indie' / college radio stations here... So it's me and my earbuds, listening to whatever Google Play is giving me. And it works quite well. No need for radio anymore.
