The good news: Many network operators already know the Chinese habits.

Against what?
This is like radio hooligans - they can screw up with the communications by making noise, but you can't retaliate in kind since they don't have communications of their own to disrupt.

We're now in the fourth day of the DDoS:https://twitter.com/githubstatus/status/582133571042803712

Except for a 7 minute minor outage earlier today when the DDoS changed tactics, Github is still going strong.

well, Badiu is a service provider, so I guess there would be something to attack...
The issue is where do you attack? All of their public IPs? And if it is the Chinese government, they could just have another Chinese company continue the attack.

What I think would be effective in the long term would to have Github appeal to all of the programmers on Github to contribute to anti-censorship/anti-DDoS projects. With some of the most talented programmers out there, some serious work could get done on that front.

At this point, it's also looking more and more likely that the Chinese government is behind it. If you're a company and you can't stop an DDoS coming from your equipment after four days, then you're either hiring incompetent people or being forced to ignore it.

A disruption in communications can only mean one thing.....invasion.

Can anyone suggest a rocket with a 9-meter fairing and a payload capacity of at least 100 mT to LEO?

Better yet, can anyone suggest where I might find a database on the specs of various rockets?

[ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4840"]Quasar 440 and 452 both have 11.30 m fairings and have payload capacities of 157.5 and 232.9 metric tons, respectively.[/ame] (according to Doc/Quasar/Quasar_SHLV_english.pdf)

Today's the day you can't go on the internet because everybody thinks they're funny, right?
