Wow.

No wonder the power analyser we borrowed was cheap. It saves the data on a CF card in FAT 16. This is going to be fun. Perhaps I should put it in the retro cool thread.

Dilemma: If I buy a new hoover, will my old one be gathering dust? :hmm:

Is this supposed to be inspired by the Twilight Zone episode with William Shatner?

Yep. Nearly perfectly overacted. Although I liked the slow motion football instant replay (backwards). That had me in stiches for several minutes. High quality-low brow humor.

Ummm... forgive me, but what is it?

As mentioned, it's the Pride of Hiigara from Homeworld 2 - part of the collector's edition of Homeworld Remastered. The Kushan mothership would have been nicer, since it's from the game with the better story, but merch is merch, and the detail is quite nice regardless.

Repping Best Korea over Germany.

(The CAG skin for the Hellcat is far and away my favorite skin in game, even surpassing the KLM skin I have for the B17)

I wonder: Is it possible to write a virus that is both a computer virus and a bacteriophage?

In other words, one that can infect both executable files for some plaform, and, under a given transcription of bits to DNA/RNA bases, can also infect, for example, E. Coli?

if E. Coli
call E. Coli virus function
else if computer
call computer virus function

Hah! Actually, I don't think DNA can follow if statements.

More like the end of one function in the compiled binary, and the beginning of another function, combine to encode the protein that makes up the viral capsule, and so forth.

A culture/metaphor question.
Is there any metaphorical meaning for arctic fox in your culture?
Does the phrase "An arctic fox sneaked up on you" mean anything besides the literal?

Not here either, but after seeing the picture, I'd "get" it.

Here is more like, "If it's been a snake, it would've got me".
