Make sure your brain is in gear before doing math. :)

That is, get some sleep/whatever, and try another day.

Just cant believe how much Ive forgotten over the summer. Ive gotta get back up to speed on things.

Ah, wait, okay that makes more sense, the idea in the wiki link you posted was to treat the 3 points (x1, x2, and origin) as vertices of a triangle, then find the height of said triangle, that makes sense.

But what exactly is delta supposed to represent in this case?

Call of Duty Franchise on sale on steam, and even at 50% price all the games are still massively over priced.

I don't even think COD would be worth it if it was Free 2 Play; because then you'll have to pay for extra classes and weapons.
TBH the franchise died with Modern Warfare 3 and Ghosts. the Multiplayer of Advanced Warfare will be another CS-like, but twice the price.

No TV and telephone in the room, so I had to get LTE (30GB per month at full speed).
5x faster than at home.

Apparently, now i cant hear noises above 19500hz... Either that or my ipod earphones dont reach above that range.

I have some pretty significant hearing loss due to my life as an aircraft maintenance tech, and now with turbine/generators (makin' power baby!).

Hearing protection is a must. And all I can do is shake my head at the kiddies with their earbuds in and the volume up so loud that I too can hear their music. One day, they too will learn, that once the nerve damage is done, it's done.

An EA-6B is so loud it causes many people physical pain after a shift on the flight deck. Made my eyeballs jitter in their sockets. An F-18 is ambient noise compared to one of those things.

How the madam at the German army medical examination used to say after my hearing test: "You hear, what you want to hear."

Luckily, despite more than a decade of Metal, my hearing is still very good, but there is one anomaly that I have since my teenage days: Some women speak in a tone, that seems to be filtered out from my brain and delegated to "ambient noise". Noticed it a few times, they can speak very loud to me but unless I focus on them, I hear nothing and when I am just slightly distracted, I can see their lips move but not hear a sound. Which is funny, if it is about music, I can hear any tiny piano line in the background of a song, that plays in the same frequency range.

The notional limit of hearing for humans is 20kHz, and hearing loss in the higher frequencies starts around the age of 18 and progresses with age. So assuming you're an adult, it's not at all surprising. By the last time I checked (sometime around age 25), I'd lost the ability to pick up anything over 15 or 16 kHz.

Even if you're a teen, it's near the limit.
