Technically, yes... if someone is really, really good at it. But he'll spend days on it, all the while cursing the incompetent photographer.

Making a great photograph look extrordinary takes 15 minutes for an expierienced graphic designer.
Making a good photograph look great can easily take two hours.
Making an awful photograph look halfway decent takes hours upon hours of the most boring and annoying legwork imaginable.

2001 was 13 years ago. It's hard to believe the ISS will have been continuously occupied for 14 years as of November 2014. In my opnion, this is a tremendously underrated achievement, accomplished by two former (and in some ways current) enemies nonetheless.

An American sharpshooter shot him through the right arm into the chest. According to Baltimore tradition, two American riflemen, Daniel Wells, 18, and Henry McComas, 19, were credited with the shot. Ross died while being transported back to the fleet.

If you ever feel that you're not good at sorting things, remind yourself that there's a sorting algorithm that does worse than you.

Alternatively, you can say to someone that "he sorts even worse than the bogobogosort".

I can't see what the fuss is aboot.

It could be interpreted as "Remember when we killed a bunch of you and did a ton of property damage? Let's do that again!".

So if a random Brit says it to an American friend at a party where everyone knows each other and has a good handle on everyone else's sense of humor, it might be hilarious (This "buring the White House" joke I don't find horribly funny, but this one is).

As a public statement from embassy staff, however, it's potentially quite inflammatory. I don't find it offensive myself, but it's a horribly stupid thing to do if you work in an embassy, and you don't have any business working in an embassy if you don't know that.
