Well, the sight of the corpsicle's distorted face should be at least a reprieve. Anyway, there should be window shutters available.

2. spacecraft have the same legal president as aircraft and ships. The nation where the individual, business or government agency that owns or has primary responsibility for the vessel is registered, has the right to enforce their laws on that vessel. I am paraphrasing a lot but if you want to look up the proper wording read - "United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea of 10 December 1982", "admiralty law guide" and "International Air Law and ICAO"

You may need to start with this one to get your head around the concept of international laws.

Also I hate lawyers, sucking the will to live out of some jobs, doubling the time and expense of other jobs.

A State Party to the Treaty on whose registry an object launched into outer space is carried shall retain jurisdiction and control over such object, and over any personnel thereof, while in outer space or on a celestial body. Ownership of objects launched into outer space, including objects landed or constructed on a celestial body, and of their component parts, is not affected by their presence in outer space or on a celestial body or by their return to the Earth. Such objects or component parts found beyond the limits of the State Party to the Treaty on whose registry they are carried shall be returned to that State Party, which shall, upon request, furnish identifying data prior to their return.

Zarya is US jurisdiction actually. But, generally speaking, yes. This is also why space tourists on the ISS were being restricted to the Russian part of the station -- US said that they want no tourists in their part.

Okay, I've finally figured it out. In case this is interesting and no one knew it beforehand, for any given bipropellant combination, fuel-rich is if the ratio is less than that of stoichiometric, and oxidizer-rich is if that ratio is above.

For RP-1/LOX, fuel-rich is <2.56, while oxygen-rich is >2.56...which corresponds nicely with some existing rocket engines.

Also, there ARE fuel-rich staged combustion engines - specifically any full-flow staged combustion - which needs a fuel-rich preburner. The FFSC also has some pretty nice benefits, so now I'm not surprised SpaceX will be using it for Rapter.

This solves all my problems...

It always perplexes me that all chinese vehicles that i know of all end with Long/Dragon.

Probably an interesting cultural difference. European Dragons were beasts slain by saints. Chinese Dragons bring you the much needed rain.

What i meant is that in a literal context the naming schemes would sound like calling our rockets:

Saturn V-Moon Dragon
Space Shuttle-Gliding Dragon
Atlas-Fire Dragon
