I know, but I'm not into rhythm games, actually.

Although I would want to name an interplanetary transportation system "Developing Interplanetary Vehicle Architecture"

Oh man, Ace Combat... I have the Skies of Deception (ACX IIRC) on my PSP, and I did four times the campaign just to have all the missions unlocked ! My PSP broke, and I really miss that game. I didn't knew there was other versions (although I didn't searched, so dumb feels comes).

Tom Clancy's HAWK 2 was not bad I think, more on a "realistic" scale but fun as well.

I had that game, but it was stolen out of my backpack at school. I never actually finished the first level :/

Think it was Ace Combat 5 I had with my last PS2. Didn't play it much, but I did like what I played.

Only bought my last PS2 for Gran Turismo 3, but ended up not playing the system much at all. Sold all the gear and games to a friend when his died. PS3 has served me well since.

**EDIT** Heh. Just found a post I made about 3 years ago. The reason I stopped playing GT3 and PS2 games in general was because I stopped and devoted all my time to finishing the Explorer (Cortez).

Still love Halo here, though I stopped after 2 because the single-player ending left me angry (waaay too short compared to the first). I actually just bought an Xbox from a friend for $40 that included H2 and 9 other games (and a PS2 & 9 games), and I traded some of them for Halo 1 at a local game-trade store. Whole reason I bought it was I was missing Halo & didn't have the money to go get a 360 right now.

Gran Turismo 3 has also been eating some of my time lately, up until I started working on the Explorer.

I get a DNS (Defense of Narrative System) error on that link...
As I (usually) use the middle mouse button to open links from O-F, that link doesn't even bring a new tab for me (probably because of spaces in the URL). :P

By chance, an encounter with a real machine...

Had never seen a live one of that size and class, really an impressive sound, even when it is just idling... some silent deep rumbling, until it blows the whistle and directs steam to the pistons.

Very nice. My grandfather worked for the railroad for many years (post WWII, then up until his forced retirement in 1990). I've got a newspaper clipping of me in diapers "driving" a switch engine in the Chattanooga yard.

Chattanooga has a pretty decent railroad museum, lots of rolling stock and quite a few engines.

Once of which (I can't find a good picture of it) was seen in "October Sky", the green and silver train engine pulling the coal hoppers. They've been involved with several movies (42, Water of Elephants, etc). They've also got the "Eden Isle" Pullman car that Marilyn Monroe (et al) was seen in "Some Like it Hot".

The closest i've seen to a steam engine is one near Vyazma station:

Standing there on it's own pedestal.

Set there in memory of the heroic work of the railroad workers during the War.

A similar engine class usually sits as monument next to the station in Brunswick, I have even been in the cab of the stationary one. But this one was alive, much different. And also much different to the smaller steam trains that still drive to the Brocken mountain.

In the name of random (predictably by this time...)

Can anyone think up a good caption for the picture?
My idea is along the lines of:
-Where do you hide your free energy?! Speak or die!
-Never!

Some randomness I whipped up earlier...
