Congratulations to Switzerland! 165 years without a war, could you maybe teach the rest of the world how it's done?

The answer is hidden in the (inofficial) swiss national anthem:

When dragons belch and hippos flee
My thoughts, Helvetia, are of thee
Let others boast of martial dash
For we have boldly fought with cash
We own all your helmets, we own all your shoes.
We own all your generals - touch us and you'll lose.
Helvetia! Helvetia!
Helvetia owns the day!
We can rule you wholesale
Touch us and you'll pay.

In any case, NASA is getting annoying with these "we made a HUGE discovery and we'll tell you about it later!!!" teasers.

if it would be a really huge discovery. But so far, it was not even important enough then, to make me let my dinner get cold. Its usually just a good scientific discovery, not really groundbreaking or revolutionary. Not even unexpected. If they would find out that Mercury has a core of pure gold instead of iron...

NASA haven't announced anything though. this whole Mars thing is more about the info being leaked via social media than an actual NASA release and quite correctly they are taking the time to validate it before the big reveal.

Even then it will be much more expensive to dig for it and bring it back to Earth :P

Gold rush on the Moon, rocket race to the Moon, ...

A promised future lost.

That's why it's in this thread.
I posted earlier about the Mars thing being 99.9% media.

Yes...which is not at all different to fusion.

Well, fusing everything above iron would be endothermic, so I think it's right to differ between nuclear fusion and nucleosynthesis, which has to consume some of the nova's energy.
