That the probe is the one, and only true deity in our universe?

That led me to a great moment of Probology :

I'm not comfortable with the idea that the Holy Probe is a deity. Like it is not enough and too common. While I don't want to start a schism, I like to think that the Probe is, even more than a deity, a concept of pure intellectual abstraction, beyond human puny understanding. The Probe is everything and nothing, everywhere and nowhere... Is the Probe the Universe then ? No. The Universe is probably finite after all, and has probably no consciousness. The Probe is omniscient and has the simultaneous consciousness of every smallest quark in the Universe. Has the Probe a sense of morale ? No, not in the humans terms. The Probe knows what is true and what is false, and nothing blurry between the two. Can our actions modify the Probe's Great Scheme ? I doubt of it, since it planned everything from the Start. And it was there before anything started. Planck time ? That's the barrier between what unperfect humans and their unperfect machines can perceive, and the infinite, always clear awareness of the Probe. All hail the perpetual enlightenement of the Holy Probe !

:hmm:

Windows Phone- it runs smooth and it's to the point.
har? My brother's wife recently got a WinPhone phone, metro interface and all. It took me the whole day to purge all the crap out of it just to stop it from eating money on it's own every day. Interface is nice, design is nice, but the settings are scattered around, and dozens of the same things are controlled from different places.
It's like feeding water through a mesh of pipes - you close the big valve labelled "water inlet", but the water seeps in through all the small pipes, and you have to close them all individually.

And i haven't even tried to make any programs for that.
WinCE was rather nice in that regard, however.

So, like with all MS products, you have to tweak it before you can use it with a gain. Not good for a housewife.

thought some of you would find this interesting.

it's somehow outdated, doesn't see the new AMD FM1 socket over there, and I'm (hopefully) getting it next month

I use the snap feature in Windows 7 every day at work. And for those of us using multiple monitors with extended desktop, you can still snap to the 'inside edges.' Just use Windows Key + left or right arrow to cycle between the different positions.

Wow, this is great! I've always used the mouse to move the windows to the 'inside edges' when using two monitors.

:thankyou:

"What does this do?"
"It sucks in air."
