OTOH, the fact that you've left the taskbar on its default settings and moved it over to the left reminds me horribly of GNOME 3 or Ubuntu's Unity (which are fairly closely related). This does not get my Luddite seal of approval, as I find such configurations practically unusable.

You got it right on - can't stand the resource-wasting glass pane effects of either Unity or Aero. This 'dock' setup is just bearable, though, I can't be bothered to modify it further. It's only on the side of the screen because it gets in the way of some of the buttons in an image program I use.

In Ubuntu I'd like a setup like yours.

However this one is using frame buffer instead of pure text mode, so it isn't much luddite in my opinion, but otherwise I wouldn't make that screenshot. :lol:

Crash landing in a camera-down orientation causes the camera to hang up.
Reboot fixes this, and an aimed smack "fixes" it's casing, but the last few seconds of the video with all the excitement in them are lost.
Rugged cameras really need rugged software.
