Wasn't expecting the seal of approval. :lol:OTOH, the fact that you've left the taskbar on its default settings and moved it over to the left reminds me horribly of GNOME 3 or Ubuntu's Unity (which are fairly closely related). This does not get my Luddite seal of approval, as I find such configurations practically unusable.
You got it right on - can't stand the resource-wasting glass pane effects of either Unity or Aero. This 'dock' setup is just bearable, though, I can't be bothered to modify it further. It's only on the side of the screen because it gets in the way of some of the buttons in an image program I use.
In Ubuntu I'd like a setup like yours.
