And then what?
I won't be able to do anything I usually do on my computer in safe mode.

Play a few games of solitaire or minesweeper (if they'll run in safe mode). Sit back with a book for a couple hours and watch out of the corner of your eye to see if it bluescreens. This is meant to be a diagnostic measure, not a solution. We can't come up with a solution until we can narrow down what's wrong. If it never bluescreens in safe mode but does in normal mode, then the problem is some driver that's not loaded in safe mode.

Okay, and then selective start up slowly adding a driver at a time and waiting for a day to see if it bluescreens? I still don't see how this will help find out the problem, at least not in any realistic period of time.

Troubleshooting is mostly patience and systematic approach.

Note to self: Try random Japanese/Chinese food more often.

Not too random... bring your particle counter with you if eating fish...

The majority of people in my school seem to think that NASA is getting shut down completely and that NASA is the only employer of aerospace engineers

Sounds reasonable, given the quality of aerospace education in public schools. How many corporations are you aware of that employ sandwich-makers or microbiologists? :P

I hear this constantly.

Let's close NASA, Roscosmos, ESA, and let SpaceX, which seems to be a supreme authority in space engineering, led by the all-wise E.Musk, rule the Solar System. Under the always-right assumptions of its CEO and executive board, the best decisions will be made. Other spacecrafts than the Dragon are now pieces of junk, and the two-flights proven Falcon-9 is the ultimate achievement in rocketry. W. von Braun & S.P. Korolev can fall in oblivion. Resistance is futile, even if all the governements around the Globe, especially the ever-communist Russia and the evil non-fully-extreme-right Obama administration try to refuse to admit the evidence. SpaceX will rule the Universe under the benevolence of the Probe !

Where today do we have spacecraft flying designed by Mr von Braun... :hmm:

None and all. He just put almost all the basics of rocketry and of orbital techniques USA are using today...

Also, if you don't see the similarity between the Dragon and the Apollo heritage, I fear I can't help...
