I always get the two confused, I think you're right. :P
Shadow Cat's a very different machine:

Nostalgic for me though; I used to have the old K'nex model. Still have a Cauldron Born somewhere around, too...

Well, I've only played the Mechwarrior 4 video game.
I might get into the actual game some time, seems more my thing that 40k.

I'm trying to find people around here willing to play it with, but it looks like we'll be doing Warhammer instead, since a friend got a whole army of Skaven.

IMO 40k is too testosterone-pumped. At least with Warhammer the muscular yelling men are optional, and in Battletech they're almost safely ignorable.

The Probe just enlighted me on something...

When you apply distributivity to C++, you save a lot of lines of code.

:hailprobe:

I'd rather see the Aston-Martin "Vanish" from Die Another Day, personally. Complete with cloaking device, of course.

I could do that.Except for the cloaking part lol.

I love the bond films, but mostly the earlier ones the best with Connery and Moore. Could be interesting with UCGO in some sort of film. :)

Those are the better films

Used to spend hours playing Battletech.

I just got Ubuntu 11.04 running. Next time I install it on a machine it won't be from a 9.10 boot disk, though.

I just saw Commander Mark Kelly at Starbucks when I was there getting my coffee. I almost said hi and asked if he knew about Orbiter, but he looked like he didn't want to be bothered on what I assume is a day off work. :)

Your lucky you live in Texas. When I was at KSC on a field trip,I saw a shuttle astronaut in the gift shop line.I said hi,but he was in a hurry to get to dinner so he couldnt talk with me.

I've actually met a few astronauts, myself. I've met Bob Springer, Hoot Gibson, and Story Musgrave during my trips to Space Camp, and I got to see Joe Engle speak at Oshkosh in 2010.

I also met two apollo astronauts(from previous engagements).
