The only difference between those two is that one uses KDE and another GNOME by default. Isn't there an option for installing additional graphics environment and choose as default? All the Linux distributions I have had, allowed many graphics environments installed at the same time.

As I said earlier I never really got a good look at it, I'll check after school to see if I can find something. :thumbup:

Interesting... if you order 50 year old movies on a DVD box, you have to sign the reception of the packet. Looks like I am now a evil violent terrorist for having more Akira Kurosawa movies at home. The world has become strange.

Does it matter you've ordered Hitchcock as well? :P

Well, it turns out I can install KDE onto Ubuntu, but to be honest I'm kind of liking GNOME, I think I'll stick with it and just find a nice theme. :thumbup:

I'm so glad my local shopping centre, just up the road, has one of those "Foreign foods" stores (No idea what the actual name is :lol:). I just bought a can or Pepsi Blue, a can of Pepsi Wild Cherry, a can of Cherry Coke and lastly, possibly my favourite foreign soft drink, Dr. Pepper. :)

That's what Kubuntu is - Ubuntu with KDE. You can switch between them any time by exiting the session and clicking the session settings at the bottom of the login screen. You can also have XFCE as a choice.

For a real OSX/Ubuntu mind job, look up how to install Macbuntu. It's pretty cool. :thumbup:

:rofl: I'm using Macbuntu right now, dual-booted with Vista. Whenever i have friends over, i switch between them every hour or so to mess with them... :P

Friend: "Since when did you get a Mac?"
Me: "I've always had one...duh."
~~~~AN HOUR LATER.~~~~
Friend: "I thought you had a Mac, how are you on Vista???"
Me: "I've always had Vista....:rolleyes:"
:rofl:
I use it dual-booted on my Win7 laptop. It's a pretty convincing look-a-like.
MacBuntu ? with fries and tasty motherboard bits ? :lol:
