Looks like I'm directly at the frontline between the cloudy western sky and the clear eastern sky... Just stay this way until the ISS & Discovery pass!

Never buy an European green car for cold climate.
These are equipped with very efficient engines that take 30 minutes to reach even room temperature, so you'll be freezing for the first hour of the trip.

That is not correct...that is a sign that your car has a damaged three-way-valve and thermostat.

European Greencars that really don't like cold climate are the three-cylinder-TDI-engines of Volkswagen... was a really big problem since it was a pretty popular car. Additionally to the fact that Volkswagen does not deliver their TDI engines with a block heater for temperatures below -20°C, TDI engines never reach operating temperature in the winter by idling... a bad combination.

A Xenomorph walks into a bar, thinking it to be a diner. It is chased out. How? Sigourney Weaver is the bartender.

Green spot is the ISS + Discovery:

It's also possible that it has a thermostat that's tuned to another marked. I had a Suzuki 1.3 that had a thermostat tuned for 5-30°C. And it was brand new, straight from the factory.
It could only reach operating temperature when idling in hot weather. After I installed the correct one, it worked fine.

Ahh, I see the point, thanks for the suggestion :3

I have dieted recently until I got low blood sugar warnings so I did lose a fair amount of pounds, so now I'm working myself back into shape. "Reactor scram" is not the healthiest dieting plan but it works for what I intend to do.

*L* I just noticed in the 'Skype for Chrome' settings, one of the default choices for choosing a country for the current website you are visiting is Ascension Island.

I can either have a carbohydrate heavy lunch, or a protein heavy lunch. Which is the lesser of two evils?

It doesn't matter, but don't have a carbohydrate heavy dinner.

I really don't like tv. I can't stand local news, and I really hate commercials. For years the tv has been the domain of the kids and the mrs. unless it's national news or something really educational or funny. Until a week ago I hadn't seen a single episode of Battlestar Galactica. I've been saving it for the end of the shuttle program. I recently purchased the DVD boxed set and I've just finished season one without commercial interruption. Saying goodbye to the shuttle makes me feel old, like nothing else has before. But chasing it with BSG somehow makes me feel better. Commander Adama is referred to as "the old man" in this reinterpretation. I hope that as I get older I can demonstrate some of the character Edward James Olmos brings to the role. No spoilers please.

Congratulations! BSG was truly outstanding. The original show was so campy I almost didn't check out the new one. Glad I did!
