I don't know if this was the worst day to start playing Metro 2033 or the best day.
My laptop couldn't keep up with the game on Steam (I got a free download key). So I played a couple hours with OnLive. This is surely the most terrifying game I am willing to play... Earbuds are enough, I don't think I could do this with real surround sound. :lol:

Alan Wake and Amnesia are the games that you need to play in a dark room.

I remember the near-heart attack condition I got when I was playing Alan Wake, tried really hard to fend of enemies and then our town had a total blackout, so I would not recommend playing it during night.

Thats still harmless compared to having the active sonar ping right before the "torpedo in the water" warning. :lol: "

Torpedo in the water only means, you have heard one of them somewhere, but the seeker is not yet active and not pointed at you.

If you hear the active sonar of the torpedo as first sign, a damned Helix dropped one right near you and you have seconds left to make sure you are either too far away for it to find you or too fast to follow you.
