Warning- Portal 2 spoilers

Does nobody on the face of the Earth realize Weatley and the Space Core should have come crashing down with the rest of all the debris from the facility since the air rushing out of the portal wasn't going at Lunar escape velocity? There's no way Chell would have survived winds going several kilometers a second.

You could argue that the shots of Weatley and the Space Core were taken sometime during either their ascent or decent (and yes, it probably would have taken quite a while for them to come crashing down as they were going really fast) but my guess is that nobody bothered to consider all this. Especially considering the two videos of Weatley shown at the Spike Game Awards.

That would have been the perfect ending shot- Weatley and the Space Core each broken in a thousand pieces in the middle of a pile of debris at the Lunar Landing site. There would be no question he's gone for good. :)

Edit: Cool picture, btw. You should try doing an isometric version (or a perspective version!).

The game can violate conservation of energy, makes portals, jumpy and runny goop, force fields made of light and swirling tractor beams and you're complaining about THAT?

For English class I had to give a speech advocating for anything. I chose Human Spaceflight. My teacher wanted us to dress nicely, this is the result.

What is the point of complaining about these fictional franchises?

If Hayabusa's a girl..... (that's a Chinese translation of a Japanese book that introduces several Japanese satellites and probes in the anime way) :hailprobe:

Oh, China.
Bought a variable power supply today, chineese made.
It seems to work, but something was rattling in it.
And a quick disassembly shown a loose bolt tumbling around inside, among uninsulated wires and PCBs!

This just in to us at CNN here, it appears half of Russia has lost power due to a single person shorting it out with a sub-par power supply...

the OIP (Orbital Initiative Program) shall be called Apogee Aeronautics and Space Technology AAST!

Just a name change since I thought OIP just sounded odd ;)
