On a plane or a ship, you have a job to do when you're under attack. Assuming you actually made it through training, you are now a professional. Professionals don't (or shouldn't) screw around when their ship is under attack or when the pilot's plane is taking some AA fire. The second you lose focus is the second you die or cause someone else to die. Heck, a lotta guys die focused even.

BTW: A tip. Use one post.

It's kids 12 to 18- right? So even after you turn 18, you're still eligible... right? Either way I'm safe, and if I survive into that time period, I'll be more than safe provided I'm not senile.

Actually, if you took the time to read the second book, you'd know that old senile people could have the chance to participate in the Hunger Games. Sure, you would be safe, because you were never a champion, but other old people may be.

I've read all 3 "Hunger Games" books. Not too bad, really fast to read (a vacation book series to me). My daughter saw the movie and said it was pretty faithful, I'll see the movie this weekend (and she'll go with to see it again).
