Trying myself doing a plane with Blender (if I manage to upload that screenshot that is) :

Can you guess which one it is ?

I was just thinking "Mirage", but I couldn't keep them apart for the life of me. Also, the mesh currently looks like it's gonna have two engines, which doesn't fit the mirages I know.

As a Swiss, I know Mirages only with single-engines and canards:

The Mirage IV is the "tactical bomber" version :) Much heavier.

I'm doing this front/side/top views with blueprints as background, so proportions should be ok.

Day light savings strike again. So confusing

We plunge into the Pit of Darkness next Sunday here in the U.S. I can easily deal with the dark mornings but having it be dark when I walk out of work at the end of the day is just depressing.

Its a fair ease into Winter...Imagine if it was quiet?

N.

Exactly, I mean people simply want to enjoy a few minutes of natural light after their work day. Especially when they are tired by the weather getting cold and wet.

The part of the building I work in has no windows, so in the height of winter when I come to work in the dark and go home after dark I can go several days in a row without seeing daylight. Yes, it's a little depressing.

But I'll still take that over sweating and bugs.

On this side of the pond, then-president Medvedev knew that he would be, in the grand scheme of things, of no consequence.
So he did one thing that made sure everyone here remembered him - he abolished Daylight Savings Time.
And good riddance it was.

Wait... what? natural light after their work day?

In the past weeks, I left my home right after sunrise and returned in the dark...

I've been coming home in the dark for several weeks now too.
I've also been leaving in the dark. Now it's light again in the morning, which I guess is the point of DST, but it happens to be annoying because I'm launching right into the sunrise...

Equally annoyig is to be pulling night shifts. You come home in the morning, but tired. Then you go to sleep and by the time you wake up, it's dark or sunset. And the sleeping pattern is a mess, so you're pretty much a zombie 90% of the time.

Well, my sleeping pattern is generally best described as a mess.

Winter time is star-time. During winter, the sun is highest in the sky at noon, during summer it's at 1 pm.

I like DST for two reasons:
- The sun rises at 3.30 am in the morning otherwise. With DST, it rises at 4.30
- In the hot months, waking up at 7 am is hell already when the sun's been out for hours to warm the place up. That way waking up at 7 still give you an hour or so before the heat.

That usually depends on where you live and how your windos are facing. Having eastwards facing windows is hell, I know. Where I live know, it's quite shaded, but it's very dull. I honestly don't know what's worse, getting woken up in sunlight and head or having little variation throughout the seasons :p
