That's called army. Get used to it, once you decide to join. Maybe you may one day shout at somebody yourself. :P

I've been shouted at enough in the army. Nice to have a safe haven here...
Thunderstorm here was quick and intense, but it doesn't seem to stop raining.

Here, the thunderstorm is passing by slowly, so you can see it well, hear lots of thunder, but so far, it did not rain. The other side of the house has sunshine.

But I have seen a pretty whirlpool in the sky above me an hour ago. Was not strong enough for a tornado, but a pretty sight.

I have a movie of when I was around 8 months old, and my family was in a car and was being chased by a tornado. That was an R rated movie ;)

In two weeks, in Sweden, so-called "Eavesdropping" will be permitted by law for various governmental "agencies" (in lack of better word)

How will you know in Sweden, that your Apartment is getting bugged? The IKEA table, you just bought, has no surplus parts.

I wish my neighbours were only zombies. I have the most disgusting prostitutes working in my apartment building, and it always surprises me that they can get people to pay to be with them rather than vice-versa. They never shut the elevator door and their clients are vile.

I didn't know you had done the translation Tiger, I picked it up from Kosmonavtka Suzie.

Surely, I had sent this translation to her couple of years ago. By the way, Suzy lurks at this forum too. :P A tiny globe, this one is.

But then I did women's magazines like Elle and Cosmo, and I hated it. Now I'm writing about what I love - space travel and history.

Womens magazines! Glad you are over with them! ;)

Here in Spain they say "El mundo es un pañuelo" - the world is a handkerchief. But they don't specify whether it's a clean hankie or one full of mucus (yeeeech!).

BTW, Tiger, I like the lyrics of the "Green Grass of Home" rock song, but I've never heard it. Could you upload it so we can hear?

"Green Grass of Home" is also a Tom Jones song, so don't be surprised.

Yeah, us too here in Catalonia. Luckily it's been raining fairly constantly for three weeks now.

Tiger, re uploading: I also have no idea how you could do that to the forum. Perhaps we should ask Tex?

Thanks to unusual circumstances, I am in the position to tell you, I am going to have a great day at the lake!

And to round it all up I am going to cycle/bike/ride my bicycle (wording?) 25km through my hometown in the evening sun.
