Thought this kind of stuff was illegal in Germany...

Not if it's paid accordingly and you get to compensate the hours at a convieniant time. A lot also depends on your exact contract. Me for example, I'm working on "anual time". That is, at the end of the year my hours must meet the working time for that period to within a hundred hours plus or minus. How that time distributes over the course of the year is a secondary concern.

If it's a request, you can always decline :P

Depends - in my case, it would be illegal to command me to do it. I can only volunteer. Well. Volunteer. Of course.

Ridiculously awesome find! This totally should go into dwarf fortress!

More broad take on that:

Result is better than dragonforcoe IMO and FYI I love powermetal.

Attack our death
The gods behold their honor and metal
Feel their glory and the sword and wind
Feel my loud steel
Attack their power
Fight the magic metal

I kill our loud sword
Burn our master
I kill our loud sword
I hail your death

Feel kings and the honor
Feel all the battle without death
Attack your battle
Attack the death and power with hammer

I kill our loud sword
I kill our loud sword
I kill our loud sword
I kill our loud sword

LOL wut?!

Funny thing is that if "sing" it in a death metal cookie monster voice no one will understand it anyway, so any lyrics are fine.

It needs a few End Him Rightly's in there.

Genious!

Not that much into powermetal, the only stuff I listen to regularly is Blind Guardian. The rest gets either too boring after a short while or it goes too muchinto prog and loses power. BG are kind of the only band I've encountered that can consistently deliver on the power without getting boring.

Also, I hope Toady knows that video. No seriously, there's the missing ingredient for that procedural poetry stuff.

Volunteer or volunteered?

Well, the whole remainder of the team (after many budget cuts and childbirths) decided to work on Saturday, so its a bit of peer pressure.

Of course I could decide that preparing for my vacation in the second half of the month is more important. But, guess what happens if the release in two weeks is failing and people at our customer are threatened to lose their management jobs if they don't find somebody else to pass the buck...

Model does not fit to measurements.

I can't reproduce the Triumph of Steel album, regardless how often I repeat the generator.

I wonder what would happen if I feed an AI with all Manowar songs. Will it write better songs? Or fight and die?

I entered a load of words like wombat, crocheting, hammer and place names. Also the name of your lead singer (I said "Toenail" but I was making a tribute to "The Toecutter" in the original Mad Max!)

Anyway my personal favourite was "Brutal Wombat of Staines" :RnR1:

I 'rigged' the band name generator a bit, and it came up with these, among others:
Teenage Unexpectedly-placed Red Zucchinis

VictorUniform's Midnight Spacemen

Undercover Map and the Unexpectedly-placed Zucchinis

Unexpectedly-placed Monkeys of Berlin

The Unexpectedly-placed Can For the Spacemen

Unexpectedly-placed Zucchinis of the Red Map

Map Failure

This Map

Riot of the Red Map

Flight of the Zucchinis

Au Revior Toes

Time stands still at the iron hill

... No, not Manowar. :headbang:
