It is quite the small touch of "coloring" that makes the ISS more real.

Brilliant as always Don.

The screenshots on Orbit Hangar from your last two addons are so close to the real thing it's hard to tell the difference.

I've noticed the modules of the ISS appear to have a shiny metallic surface that is exactly the same as the real ISS - I genuinely thought you'd posted an actual photograph with the radiator damage one.

Is this a new texture you've developed or is it a lighting effect I've missed in Orbiter 2016?

You need the newest Dx9 client, then you need to adjust the reflection and roughness. Or I could post my GC/spacecaft/spacecraft3.cfg

How did it get that way? I almost think it looks like mold damage.

Don't really know. Oxygen escaping maybe ?

Hello in fact have talked about here:

http://www.collectspace.com/ubb/Forum30/HTML/001064.html

Post "Ilbasso" 1494

My source inside MCC tells me that it's the MLI (Multi-layered Insulation) reacting with atomic oxygen. The airlock has been up there "forever", and the most discolored side is the one facing forward. That's why you see it more pronounced on that surface, rather than for example on the Canadarm, which changes its orientation regularly. He said that you see this kind of discoloration a lot with MLI that has been up there for a long time. It's the same discoloration that you see on the sides of the Shuttle.

Could you be so kind and do that?

Hello DON

Yesterday watching the latest EVA US 51, I noticed a small detail, in fact the "burns" are visible only on the inner side. There is nothing outside !!!
Attached are the photos of the airlock.

Could you change your burn job?

thank you in advance
Pappy2
