Put a face and name to O-F members' pets!

Your Pets!

I have a dog--a female Pom-Spaniel mix I love to death, and a female Calico cat I despise. Will post picks of them later. (At work now:))

How about you guys?

No own pets in my flat (I lack the time for them), but my parents own two Rough Collies and a crazy cat. my brother also has two budgies at my parents house.

One 9yr old pure bred Chihuahua, who act's like she owns the house :P

I have no pets. But there are hornets and mice in the attic. And I leave them there. I love hornets. Beautiful creatures. And unlike rumors, rather inoffensive and not more poisonous than wasps. At least the small European hornets here in Germany.

Sometimes I hear mice in my walls and in the attic in the morning. But I never saw them though.

A pure German shepherd puppy (6 months) named Bella:

And only two days ago a 6-year-old cat we haven't yet named:

That's a beautiful cat:) Where did you get him (her?)
SPCA. He was dropped off there as a stray, but he was de-clawed, fully house-trained and passionately in love with humans. Looks like someone wanted to avoid the drop-off fee. :P

The latest tournament video of our "small" one:

I have a female dog called "Laika". The idea for the name came from my mother...

I only had a rabbit when I was younger. He was called "Milou", and we didn't know about Tintin at this time... I have no idea where this name came from. He was black and white (an English Spot), but he turned a bit more white during summer.

He stayed in an homemade cage during the summer, and in a smaller cage in the garage during the winter (because here in Québec, domestic rabbits cannot really stay outside...). We had a pen that we installed during the summer so he could run a bit when we were there. He lived 5 1/2 years. We never had another animal since then...

We have five parakeets for pets here. I had a few water turtles before, and severel goldfish. We once had 2 dogs, but we had to get rid of then in one way or another.

we're eventually going from this (not actual pet)

I found out last summer that my cat had developed diabetes. She's been tolerating humans for 13 years, and now finds it disturbing to rely on us for insulin shots.

Prior to discovering diabetes we had to get her a hysterectomy (tumor on her uterus). Between that and insulin it's starting to get expensive (but still cheaper than a teenager). But even my wife (who really doesn't like cats) has warmed up to her over the past few years.

This is my native Siberian cat, Suzy. Actually, he's a tomcat, but we somehow failed to identify his sex when we found him. And so the name stuck to him.

Something like that happened to me once. My dog had several puppies, and being the smart:censored: that I am, I named one of them Super Dave, only to find out later that it was female. But the name stuck anyway:thumbup:
