Phoenix Mars Landing Thread

Using Brian's updated Phoenix Addon and the new scenario. I find myself running about 20 minutes early in UT, with touchdown occuring at 23:38 UT. Anyone else finding this?

It's because of the communications delay. From the Phoenix Mission website:

What time will Phoenix land on Mars? What time will the first signal be received from Phoenix?

Phoenix will land at approximately 4:36pm Pacific Daylight Time (7:36pm Eastern Daylight Time). We hope to receive the first signal from the lander approximately 17 minutes later at 4:53pm PDT (7:53pm EDT).

Well, if all has gone to plan, Phoenix is on the surface of Mars.

By my clock, it should be touching down any minute now!

It seems silly to wish them good luck for something that's already happened! :lol:
