Pegasus - Ares Lander

This is a kind of 'forgotten addon'. It was modelled after the Mars lander from the BBC TV film about the spaceship 'Pegasus' exploring the solar system.

This a re-release of the old vessel to support current Mars-addons.
It is a tailsitter and quite difficult to land.

An aerospike engine is used for the last minutes of powered descend and for the ascend.

Actually Mr Martian Dlled this in his ISV Pegasus add-on, & did a really good job of it too.

I love this addon! After installing the Total Immersion VC, I tried a lunar landing. I got my vertical speed just right, but i forgot to check my horizontal speed. So, I bounced and started spinning, hitting the ground five times before my wrecked spaceship finally came to a halt. Er... yeah.

Nice to see this addon still has fans! A tailsitter is difficult to land. For lunar landings (or other non-atmospheric landings) you could use the LolaMFD. There is 2010-version at Orbitangar.

Thanks! Is there an animation for opening the airlock/top door or ejecting a UMmu for eva? If so, which button(s) is it? Also, which is the right version of LolaMFD to use with O2010P1?
