Orbiter Screenshot Thread

It really is easy. Earth to moon you have to aim right to get to a spot where the moon will be in a couple of days. Moon to Earth, seat of the pants, just burn from the backside, you will either end up in an Earth orbit or smack into the Earth itself, not much accuracy needed.

So... throwing yourself at the ground... and missing? :D

Also it depends what you want to do. Ideally, with a DG, you want a nice trajectory that gives you a 'reentry corridor' leading to a place with a runway.

STS-135, pre-OMS-2, ET-138 venting hydrogen visible in a lower orbit next to the orbiter.

Is seasonal texture changes simulated in orbiter? Or is it a mod.

Not currently. But you could do it artificially by having the two sets of textures ready and replace 'by the hand'. Or with a PowerShell script. If you want to replay some historical mission, it can be seriously cool to have an Earth that matches the season. Like Artemis II, if it flies in February, it is perfect.
