My AN-225 just fits inside one of the big hangars at CSSC. Still working on my own mesh for this big guy, but this will do as a stand-in.

It won't fit under the crane though... But then, there's a lot of places this thing won't fit.

Are you developing this as an addon?

Why thank you.

A couple more I prepared for another thing, but figured might as well share here as well.

Gotta love the D3D9 graphics client. So wonderful.

Very slow development, but yes. This particular AN-225 is from Kev, and is in here [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2588"]Myasishchev VM-T with Shuttle[/ame]

P.S. That's my first ever successful Shuttle landing in Orbiter! (a cheat anyway - I used AutoFCS)

Using AFCS not cheating, that's the way the pros do it.

So after a really long delay, the crew of the Iron Hill Discovery finally lifted off on their return to Earth.

The four crew remaining in the base suited up

After Tacolev & SamuelEdwards ingressed Discovery, me and Solarliner dragged all of the equipment out from under Discovery to avoid the hover engines blast on takeoff.

Lights left waiting by the main airlock for any future travellers.

And liftoff!!!

I got my biggest scare of the entire project right before that picture was taken, as Discovery roared out of Chao-meng-fu only meters above the crater wall.

After that, the orbital insertion went quite well, and I plotted the TEI burn of 16 kps. Naturally, the burn came at about 1 am local time , but I soldiered on until the burn was done. Our current trajectory will pass Earth at about 1.2 Gigameters on November 14th of this year. We appear have plenty of fuel remaining for any course corrections.

Ermmm - shouldn't it be SSTO?

Waverider from Pioneer Space Simulator (Frontier clone). I've asked game author for permission to use it in Orbiter - no reply yet. I think mesh has potential to become fun add-on (JATOs to mach 6 then scrams to 6.8 km/s and OMS for insertion burn)

It needs some refinement (control surfaces, proper landing gear etc)

It has been a while. A slight miscalculation during an EVA on Phobos results in a 3rd Martian Moon...
