This is fun!!

Veeeeery cool!

Really? How cool is that ?

I should've used quotes on that.

Partially, I used UCargoDeck. I did launch Jason to the asteroid though.

upscaled by factor of 1.25 and posed along Azure for size comparison.

Mesh has been sent to Woo for coding (due to UCGO limitations I won't be releasing it as UCGO Car:P)

Got tired of debugging parachutes so i decided just to have some fun.

I love it! What exactly is causing problems with UCGO?

Just curious.

Occasionally need to have fun with Orbiter eh?

Can you keep me in the loop with parachutes? I also would like to discover the key
to not killing my crew on landing.

Ability to only transport UMMUs and UCGO cargo - Instead PayloadManager will be included to carry anything natively. Also 6000polys and 10 meshgroup limit is not acceptable for me. Also with custom dll we canadd another stuff like for example local light sources to iluminate bases etc.

Well I don't think Dan will bring down the hammer on you just for that. 6000 poly is probably just a guide to keep things under control, but you're a quality modeller, so no need to worry ;)

I love all of those ideas, maybe can I add a request for ability to drive on Orulex terrain? If Woo is okay with coding it maybe it could have a really nice driving physics model.

Keep up the good work :)

That's not the problem I'm having. The problem I'm having is aerodynamic stability. The stabilization drogues are supposed to reduce/dampen the vessel's tendancy to tumble, not make it worse.

I don't have that problem, when I use drogues for my Dragon capsule. Are you moving the drag point, far enough away from the capsule ?

Now that you've asked I'm not sure. at the moment I'm using the attachment point of the drogue to the capsule which is where, in theory, it should be

I just posted a thread on the subject here
