Arrow spacecraft transits the Sun during a slingshot manoeuvre, imaged by a microprobe during a systems test. The vessel's destination, Jupiter, is visible to the right of the shot.

I wanted to take a shot like this during the mission because I just watched Sunshine this afternoon. :lol:

The vessel is oriented with -Y towards the Sun, shielding the main bridge and gravity ring.

USC Challenger Test Flight

On March 21st 2024 @ KSC, DG Challenger took flight for the first time to perform a systems test, for it's upcoming mission, GTS-7 (Date TBD). Engines were first tested at 15,000 feet, then at 25,000 feet, and 50,000 feet during flight. The life support system and flight computers were also tested during flight.
