Instead of H-IIB launch vehicles, JAXA uses ASI's Neptune-1B (license-built in Japan) to launch Nep-1B Transfer Vehicles (NTVs) to the ISS, as opposed to HTVs. I had this idea because Nep-1B (17 t) and the H-IIB (19 t) have comparable payload capacities to LEO. Also, I wanted something other than that dummy payload.
The ultimate American Big Three that provided the Americans the ability to stand up and rise against the Soviet Union (both on Earth and in orbit): the Thor, the Atlas and the Titan.
This is going to be released with the Carl Sagan Space Center? This would be awesome! With some action areas we could use it to open the doors of the hangars...
Did one mission on the old NASSP Skylab where it was first sent up to space. I still have to circularize the orbit. Here's my shot of it up there. Still covered and the 2nd stage Saturn still in place.
Just another set of shots unedited. And this set has me shooting off some of the Atlas rockets. The one with the satellite and the one that's just the rocket are separate. The satellite was sent out by what looked like an Ariane type rocket. At the time I wasn't able to capture the shot before the satellite was already up.
These two were called the AtlasLV-3A-AgenaD
The next has the AtlasLV-3A-AgenaB
The next one is with the satellite of the AtlasV
Another shot showing the close circularity of the orbit I managed to attain with that AtlasV.
