'This is Ares launch control at T-1 hour and counting. We're 1 hour away from the launch of the Orion spacecraft with its 4 person crew. This will be final test flight of Orion before its first flight to the moon! The astronauts are strapped into their seats and everything is GO!'

Orion will be visited by a Dragon spacecraft with 3 crew members, here in an earlier shot after roll-out of the Falcon 9

The Approach and Landing test vehicle, over KSC approaching the HAC. I may release this bird, before the Jason space worthy ship.

The space worthy Jason returning from it's first orbital 5 day test flight. Notice the scorching on the front of the waist pods. Looks like it will need some Hi-temp tiles or some RCC in that area.

Speaking of scorching.

SIVRO.jpg

Here's another rotten test shot from Constitution, involving the Starboard-wing Infra-red / Visual spectrum Re-entry Observatory (SIVRO) module built into the top of her starboard rudder. Her companion is PIVRO, which is the same array (a micro video / infra-red camera) only on the other rudder.

Nice filter effect, it makes it look like a real photo from that time period.

Thanks to Liber for making the X-71 (my favorite fictional spacecraft) and GattisPilot for making me a modified Freedom and Independence Mesh. Here's the Independence Movie Accurate
picture.php

There go, Now I'm debating whether or not to release the 2 meshes as they are not my work. I might though giving credit to its creators obviously. And if I do I'll make it so you have to Download Liber's then replace the mesh. Enjoy

Nice! Is it possible to use the boosters on top of it like in the movie?
A release would be great, I just created an asteroid that's on a similar trajectory (making a close moon flyby at 10 km/s, and as big as Texas).

close the story was that in 4 days an asteroid would hit earth, and 2 X-71 Shuttles are sent up to drill to the center of said asteroid plant nukes and blow it in half
