*If you're interested in flying this mission, I've provided a package you can download below. Extract the Daylight Space Station package into your Orbiter installation after you've installed the required addons listed in the package readme:
'Doc/Daylight Space Station/readme.txt'
EDIT - For reference, here is what DSS looks like completed.
XR5-ER100 on powered re-entry profile (think Firefly, without the primary buffer panels flying off) during super-heavy cargo tests. I didn't want to risk a conventional re-entry with close to 500 tons of payload.
Carmen, those containers look great. I think it should be a fairly simple matter of using UCGO to give them "fuel" or "oxygen" properties... of course, I've never attempted it myself, so don't mind me.
I've updated my post above.. I forgot to include the guidance file for the Ariane6 launch autopilot, sorry about that! You can download the updated package in my post above in which the autopilot will work for the south east launch windows.
Two new addons have been added to the required list for this mission. Check the readme in the package as usual. This time I didn't forget any files!!
*After loading the scenario, you might have noticed Discovery appears to be floating in the air above the launch area, similar to the Ariane6 in the previous scenario. This is because I don't use launch pads due to a considerable frame rate loss in my current setup. If you would like to use the Shuttle Fleet expansion pack and launch pad yourself, then Discovery should already be in the proper position for using them in this scenario. I'm always in the cockpit anyway, so I won't be providing launch towers with these scenarios.
I used the [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=5043"]XR5 Repaint Kit by pennyblack[/ame]. The yellow stripe was there to spice things up.
I'm not uploading it because I didn't know the logo would get distorted. I don't know how to make it so that it isn't. (There was also a glitch where the skin wouldn't load but that was fixed by reopening Orbiter)
RATO and external stores (WIP) for XR spaceplanes.
Warning: You must use manual flight controls as the RATOs affect trim realistically.
There are two configurations for the boosters - one using realistic ISP (similar to standard USAF 1,000lbs rockets, and the big one is the Castor SRB), and a second one with "enhanced" future fuels similar to the DG/XR2's default settings. The big boosters add one tremendous kick blasting up to scramjet altitude. Big enough for anime style insanity
