Orbiter Screenshot Thread

I am THAT good....

How the heck?! :rofl:

I recall McWgogs posting a nicer-looking setting on the old M6 forum after my post. I'm too lazy to dig it up at the moment.

I dunno, I really like yours. I'd be interested to see what he posted though. Right now I'm trying to find the perfect blue tint for earth's atmosphere in orbit and on the ground. It's tough to make both look perfect. :)

This is what I currently have set for Mars:
Code:
; === Atmospheric Parameters ===
AtmPressure0 = 0.61e3          ; pressure at zero altitude [Pa]
AtmDensity0 = 0.02             ; density at zero altitude [kg/m^3]
AtmGasConstant = 188.92        ; specific gas constant [J/(K kg)]
AtmGamma = 1.2941              ; specific heat ratio c_p/c_v
AtmAltLimit = 100e3            ; cutoff altitude
AtmColor0 = 0.34 0.24 0.15
AtmHazeColor = 0.96 0.54 0.36
AtmHazeDensity = 1.5

; === Cloud parameters ===
CloudAlt = 15e3 ; altitude of cloud layer
CloudRotPeriod = 0.722e5
CloudShadowDepth = 0.7
CloudMicrotextureAlt = 30e3 240e3

; === Visualisation Parameters ===
MaxPatchResolution = 14        ; surface texture resolution limit (1-12)
MinCloudResolution = 1 ; cloud layer from this resolution
MaxCloudResolution = 8 ; highest cloud resolution level
AlbedoRGB = 1.0 0.7 0.3
MaxPatchResolution = 10 ; highest sphere patch level

Note that the Martian atmosphere does actually resemble that, as shown here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mars_atmosphere.jpg

Nice, a DeltaGliders wing !

Is that some kind of new autopilot of your's ? :)

Skookum: Freaking AWSOME shots man, seriously.

Computerex: I had the exact same problem. It would seem that you are attempting to use the version of the XR2 (XR5 is the same) that was meant for ofbiter 2006, you need to install the updated versions for 2010.

Holy mother of potatoes, Skookum, if you found some way to make a post-processing filter for orbiter videos, you should use that setting. those look REAL.
