Skylab

My first ever successful complete flight (last night). Had a lot of firsts for me. Took off KSC, first ever successful manual rendezvous, first successful manual docking and first succesfull manual reentry. Cool eh? Oh and there's a pretty picture too :salute:

Daylight Space Station - Construction Mission 7

It's going well thanks, just got alittle side tracked with the H-2B HTV.

I thought you said no rush ?

It won't be long after the HTV is released.

This is a picture I took while undertaking OFSS mission 6. The captain reads: Lined up with WIN runaway 12. I had to retract the gear because I was losing too much speed on descent. Gear deployment #2 was shortly after this was taken.

Yeah, got to love WIN at night. Wish there were more scenery involved in the nightime lighting, but still a sight to behold.

These pics were taken at a value of 10 ambient light, but altered them to actually show anything besides a few rows of lights. :)

Me during my first ever successful reentry. Those lights in the top-left? That's WIN, my destination, 40km below me. I did end up landing successfully in the end (though I used my engines to help out quite a bit).

Congrats on the re-entry! Though admittedly, you might be a little fast being that close. ;) Still, a first safe drop through the atmosphere to a base of your choosing is a huge accomplishment. Nice work.
