I used that add-on, but with the Pluto texture from [ame="http://www.orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=1876"]Pluto-Charon v2.0[/ame].

Wow, even flights to Mars at full time acceleration are to long for me.

It was a long flight, with nothing interesting on the way. And it took what seemed like hours once I was past Saturn's orbit, which is why I fell asleep. Fortunately I had enough fuel to run a new orbital calculation in IMFD and change my orbital direction, and I caught up with Pluto again.

That's what I do too!

When I do long interplanetary trips I just cheat and move the date forward. Sometimes years at a time.

Gives me an idea... is it possible to make an XR2 skin that turns the thing invisible? Would be epic.
I'm working on something like that now. Progress so far: (like 5 minutes' work)

It may or may not turn out to be beyond my meager abilities.

EDIT: The post is 1337!
Also tracked down that wonko texture error: I was saving in the wrong encoding scheme (DXT5 instead of DXT1,) so my textures were turning out to be twice the size they were supposed to be.

No, it's not your abilities; I don't think a totally invisible XR2 skin is possible because the only textures that are changed for skins are XR2_top_hull_colour.dds and bottom_hull.dds. So the engines, bay, RCS exhaust, etc. will stay the same unless you overwrite them with emptiness, in which case all your XR2s will have invisible parts.
That would be a waste of some beautiful textures, so I'd rather not...
What might look cool, though, is a skin with invisible panels on the bottom, and RAM or sky-coloured gear and hover doors to make it look like it's partly camouflaged... :hmm:
Yeah, I'm getting too into this. :p

Edit: Speaking of XR2 skins...

Come to think of it, I've never seen a screenshot of Pluto. Has anyone even done a mission there (if it's even in Orbiter).
