Here's my Apollo 17 Europa landing!

I launched into LEO as normal, then used the Relativistic Warp to get me to Europa. I used the SIVB for orbit insert. LandMFD then put me down right at the UCGO Base Europa! Can't wait to drive the rover around a bit!

I can hear Heavy shouting "YOU DID WELL!"

Or maybe "WRONG MOON, DUMB:censored:!"

OK HOUSTON, THE CHALLENGER HAS LANDED!!!

Uhm Houston, where has the Challenger landed?

I finally got into a sucessful orbit for the first time:

Here's the S-IVB firing to get into a higher with Cape Canaveral in the background:

Here's a view of Asia from the S-IVB:

A "semi-deorbit" burn to slow down the lunar stack and to get into a lower orbit:

Separation of the SM and the LM:

Because of the low orbit, the LM-Probe stack had no chance of getting into orbit, so I de-orbited it:

Low friction re-entry?:

High friction re-entry?:

"Houston, we've had touch-down in the ocea-" *radio cut-off*:

Sadly, the LM with the :probe: sank into the ocean before the rescue helicopter came. The early re-entry was caused by an "engine burn error":beathead:.

The Almighty :probe: can`t sink, when The :probe: touches sea surface water becomes solid so The :probe: can land safely.

Nice astrovan 80mileshigh. Is that just a mesh or is a UCGO add on?

Are you going to release that, 80mileshigh? I planned to make the Astrovan years ago, but now as you already made one there's no need for that anymore. Beautiful!

The mesh is too high-poly for UCGO. I'm releasing it as a Spacecraft3.dll vehicle for now. When I started this UCGO didn't exist, so I had no real motivation to restrain myself! I'd be thrilled if anyone wants to compile a dll for it that gave it turning/rotating wheels etc. Otherwise I might clamour for the ability to add such features in orbiter shipyard so I can do it myself.

By the way, I anticipated the inevitability of UCGO related questions in writing the readme, but my comments were not directed at anyone specifically - I wrote the doc before posting the screenshot. It makes a lot of sense to ask.:)

Followed by a bad re-entry:

Orbital sunrise with the latest OGLA client 100415. Fantastic!

My first manned mission on its way to the moon with the Altair/Orion, using the new Ares V addon! Eileen Collins will be the first woman to set foot on the moon (if all goes well). I already landed a Altair cargo lander at Tranquillity ahead of time.

The Probe having a nice ride on a Fregat. Launched from Baïkonur, successfully crashed on the Moon 5 days after at 1500 m/s. Unfortunately, it was on the night side, so there was not much to see.
