Orbiter Screenshot Thread

Next mission release for SSU.

Wow! Looks really good. From the distance, I thought it is a photo (and then I saw the familiar Orbiter HUD).

Did you use a Next Generation graphics client with the Orbiter 2009 RC1, or is it a plain Orbiter 2006 install?

Thanks !! Just plain Orbiter 2006.

Another clue is, who would have taken the photo. ;)

Too much Orbiteering, I'd guess. But Puget Sound and the San Juan islands don't look like anything else.

Now, your new one is tougher. But that knot in the upper right looks like it might be the Louisiana coastline, and the line heading towards it has to be the mighty Mississippi. So we're approximately over Galveston; maybe a bit further southwest, but no further than Corpus Christi.
I guessed Louisiana for the first. :embarrassed:

Maybe I'll fire up FSX and do some flying around San Juan tomorrow...

It is in process of development. I'll release it by demand :P It's an enourmus launcher (a little more powerful than Jupiter DIRECT series), but the information about it is almost inexistent.

Sweet. Looking forward to it. I'm building an ISS2 type space station, and am using Ariane 5/6 for European modules, waiting on the Ares V (or DIRECT) for American, and needed something Russian. I didn't really wanna use Proton, since they're looking to replace it anyway. Can't wait to fly it!

Well... for doin' your mouth water. Read the (scarce) info that i could achieve.

A quick screen shot I took while flying the STA around Easter Island (the landings didn't go to well  )

Cannot believe no one has thought of this before...

Airdrop in Haiti

In these pictures, I dropped 80 tones of cargo

Though I am not sure about the need for O2 over there... :)

Concerning solar eclipses, on my tour with the Descartes DSV to the first stop Venus, this beatyful view was made while a spectroscopic analysis of Venus' atmosphere in a very eccentric orbit:
