Screens from my first succesful journey to other planets, my goal was to travel first to the moon and then to Jupiters moon, Europa, which was the scenario of the UCGO Arrow.

Only see red crosses here.
EDIT: See them now.

Is the Earth edited or is it real textures? (fingers-crossed)

Anyway, some more approach and landing tests in Loru's ETS:

Gliding down.

Way to high and off-centre.

Go around!

Splashdown?

Mental note: Release ETS at <20 km altitude.

Is the Earth edited or is it real textures? (fingers-crossed)QUOTE]

The pictures are slightly edited, I edited it by highering the contrast and the colours a little bit. The Earth texture is still the most colorful I've ever seen, if you haven't seen it, it is a Lvl 10 texture released a while ago, here it is: [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2552"]Level 10 Earth[/ame]

This is how the texture look without the small contrast and colour edit, it is still very colorful and nice-looking:

A lvl 11-14 version of this texture would be extremely cool.

For the atmosphere I used this addon: [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=2379"]Orbiter Atmospheric Visual Enhancement V3[/ame]

Io is one of the coolest moons to approach

Lava lakes... Not the most ideal place to land..

Orbit insertion!

...Mental note: Release ETS at <20 km altitude...

note that Prometheus can easilly stall below 90 m/s. and it doesnt like high AOAs during glide. To recover you have to perform nose.

I've managed to perform Pad abort in Cape landing on SLF from 5km altitude and 0 m/s initial speed.

<CTRL+B> airbrake
<1> drag chute

note that airbrake's attack point is high so usually it rises nose a little.

Engines are mostly for orbital manuevers and thrust can't support level flight in atmosphere.

After Reflection I can't wait. And judging by your track record, you won't dissapoint. :)

EDIT: by the way, what was that flood of jovian-system pics? Was it some kind of competition or something? Or just everybody decided it's a good place to be? :D Almost made me reinstall, but I'll wait for the XR2 v2 for that. But those pics almost made me do it.

Oh, Io. I remember the first time i visited there.
It was pretty cold, but the volcanoes kept on going.
I should make a vacation home there. Eh... someday.

SRB separations routines are working . But they need a little tweak.
