Problem Orange Space

Can someone please explain to me why the night sky and space with all it's star constellations is orange? I was always under the impression that it was black out there!

Obviously I've done something wrong or clicked something to make this occur. It's been like it since I installed Orbiter 2010. Is their a way to have Space look how it should........black?

Which sky texture do you use? The DSS? That is like the sky looks like, if you make it much brighter.

In reality, the sky can be orange though, if you are far away from artificial light sources. For example false dawn is one cause.

Look in the "Visual Effects", and scroll the "Celestial sphere" box. Here you can choose between several space backgrounds.
