I just set up a sever for Orbiter Multi-player. Can someone try to connect to it and tell me how it goes... My IP is --.---.--.--- (I will remove my IP from post after).

How do i even get on? This is something i wan't to try. I know the IP

What's the port number for it? I can try a quick connectivity test if that help?

I'm not sure how to connect to a server with Orbiter, but I've set up a few servers for various other online games before.

I think stock port said 1515.

**EDIT

UDP port= 1515
TCP port= 2502
Not sure which you'll need.

One would expect that someone running a game server would at least know how to connect to it, no? I'm not being critical, but it strikes me as fundamental prior knowledge.

I've opened up port 1515 outbound on my firewall and got this from a portqry test:

C:\Documents and Settings\garyw>portqry -n [REDACTED] -e 1515

Querying target system called:

[REDACTED]

Attempting to resolve IP address to a name...

IP address resolved to [REDACTED]

TCP port 1515 (unknown service): FILTERED

Filtered=Closed or firewalled.

This is a new game to me. Also, I doesn't have a place(that I've found) that lets you input an address.

lol I already have that opened in a new tab...
Even if I can't get my own server going, the main point was to fly with other people. That makes it fun... But how do you connect to another's host console?
