this might sound a bit stupid but if people need help with making good screen shot's send me a playback file and I can take them for you.

Here are the screenshots from my mission. I hope I did not post too many... I did have to split them up because of the limit of images per post.

Ready to start the second mission of the Orbiter Forum Space Station project.

The mission takes flight!

Clawing my way into orbit.

Switching to SCRAM Power during Ascent in the XR5.

Post MECO, now chasing down the Mir2 Core of the OFSS.

Marching my way to a docking port on the OFSS.

Within 50 meters of docking, as seen from the docking camera of the XR5.

The small distance remaining between two large vessels.

Two spacecraft become one.

Boosting the Mir2 core to its orbital altitude of 300km.

The start of construction; grappling the module "Zoe."

Moving "Zoe" from the XR5's payload bay to its home on the OFSS.

Completion of the construction phase of mission 2.

Lookin' sweet!

Gliding back in to Ascension following re-entry.

About to hit tarmac near the end of mission 2.

A successful mission completed in the OFSS project.

Cheers!

Yes, very nice. Is that a L10 Earth? I tried it but had to go back, too much load time and a noticable drag on the system. I need more memory... And an understanding spouse...

Mine is, yes. I feel your pain on the low power system, My previous computer was a real crawler. However, I just built myself a computer, first time I've done such, and I am very happy with the results. As for the spouse, I'm afraid I haven't installed that add-on yet. ;)

Back on topic: I hope to be able to complete the third mission soon, and post some screenshots too.

Is it me, or do you actually notice, enjoy and appreciate the graphics and views more when you are flying these missions than when you are just using Orbiter for the purpose of learning new things for yourself or testing add ons?

Now that you mention it Keith, I agree with you. I have loads of fun doing my own thing with Orbiter, but these missions here take it to a different level.
The "job satisfaction" is much higher as well. I gotta give AstroSammy lots of credit for coming up with (and implementing) this whole idea.

I added my screen shots to the group, however I'm just putting the finishing touches on a movie of my flight. I'll post it as soon as I finish it. :)

nice ! good video just like all you're others

Fantastic piece of work, Tex! I enjoyed it. :)

Just watched the video this morning. Only the other day I was making a comment about the high quality of the visuals in Orbiter, then; THIS!! It is hard to believe it is from a simulator, it looks like a high grade animation sequence made in 3D Studio for a documentary. The excellent audio-visual "choreography" really flatters the final product, too!

Great work!!!

Thanks for the comments guys!
